RETURN OF POLITICO!

Politico! is back.

(What’s Politico!, you say?)

Politico! started back during the 2004 election year. It was hard to describe, but it basically boiled down to a zany YU-GI-OH! spoof based around the presidential election, where each of the competitors was a combatant in a mad card duel to gain control of the country.

It was over-the-top, hilarious, and ultimately unsustainable as an idea. But it did bring us the Box of Evil Babies.

In relaunching Politico! as a webcomic, I want to maintain the spirit of knocking American and international politics down a peg, to pull back the curtain on the process and expose it. Hopefully we can all get a good laugh at it.

I’m not a leftist or a right-winger. I’ve tried both paths and I didn’t like either one. I’m not out to pimp for any party, but I will take digs at anyone. If you feel like your “guy” or your “team” has been slighted, get over it. Everyone will get it in the end. Like Lewis Black said, “My problem is with authority.”

Enough rambling. The world needs another verbose webcomic author like it needs another webcomic. Enjoy it anyway.

Maybe Chelsea could be his intern! I’m sure she’d still have that fake smile she’s been wearing for years.
